The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced that Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator Bryan Bedford will share his perspectives in a one-on-one conversation to start an expanded Meet the Regulators session on the opening day of this year’s NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

The Meet the Regulators session, which is among the convention’s most popular events, will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 on the new Horizon Stage, located in the center of the exhibit hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Bedford will be joined by NBAA Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Kristie Greco Johnson, to discuss key regulatory and policy issues impacting business aviation.

“We are honored to welcome FAA Administrator Bedford to NBAA-BACE,” said Greco Johnson. “We look forward to a substantive conversation about progress with ATC modernization, advances in medical certification, the updated oxygen mask requirements and other issues that matter most to the business aviation community.”

Bedford was nominated by President Trump to serve as FAA administrator in March 2025, and confirmed by the Senate in July 2025. A pilot with more than three decades’ experience in aviation, he previously served as CEO of Republic Airways, and led Mesaba Airlines and Business Express Airlines. He holds commercial, multi-engine and instrument pilot ratings.

Meet the Regulators

With major rulemakings and regulatory changes underway across the FAA and other federal agencies, NBAA-BACE attendees will have an opportunity, following the conversation with Administrator Bedford, to hear directly from policy, safety and regulatory officials on business aviation’s most pressing issues.

A panel moderated by Greco Johnson and NBAA Senior Vice President, Operations Heidi Williams includes:

  • Ludovic Aron is the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) representative in the United States, based in Washington DC. Following military service in the French Navy, Aron joined Dassault Aviation as an aircraft systems engineer, working in both the military customer support and business jets divisions for a decade. He then served as head of aircraft systems at Sky Aircraft.
  • Dan Edwards serves as the Department of Transportation (DOT) assistant secretary for aviation and international affairs, overseeing policies vital to the economic health and international competitiveness of the U.S. aviation industry. Before joining DOT, he was CEO of MRO and supply chain businesses, and notably contributed to developing and commercializing EMAS, which enhances runway safety across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Rebecca Guy is the deputy assistant administrator for the Airspace Modernization Office and chief technology officer at the FAA. She provides executive leadership for the FAA’s modernization strategy, overseeing organizations responsible for program management, transformative technologies, future facilities and the Brand-New Air Traffic Control System. With more than 25 years of experience at the FAA, Guy has held a range of senior leadership positions focused on modernizing and sustaining the National Airspace System.
  • Caitlin Locke serves as associate administrator for the FAA’s Aviation Safety Organization, a position she has held since June 2026.
