The FAA has established special air traffic procedures for the Las Vegas area between Oct. 15-23, 2026, to enhance safety and minimize air traffic delays in anticipation of an increase in aircraft movements during the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).
The special air traffic procedures will affect operations at Las Vegas Harry Reid Intentional (LAS), Henderson Executive (HND) and North Las Vegas Airport (VGT).
Additionally, there is a Special Event Parking Program prior prmission required (PPR) reservation requirement for all operations into LAS, HND and VGT between Oct. 15-23 which must be obtained through your FBO prior to your operation.
Arrival and departure procedures will be in place between Sunday, Oct. 18 and Friday, Oct. 23.
Increased arrival demand is expected for HND between Oct. 15-23 with a significant amount of scheduled arrivals for Aircraft Connection exhibitors on Sunday, Oct. 18 and Monday, Oct. 19. Structured arrival procedures will be used.
PPR will be in effect at HND between Oct. 16–23 for all operators not exhibiting at the Aircraft Connection. Aircraft on display at the Aircraft Connection do not require a reservation. Aircraft arriving at HND without a confirmed reservation between Oct. 16–23 will be charged a $1,000 fee.
To expedite aircraft through the Las Vegas metropolitan area, IFR arrivals to HND need to file one of the following arrival routes.

When required, traffic management initiatives to include scheduled metering delays, ground stops, ground delay programs, structured routing, miles-in-trail and altitude capping may be used to evenly distribute traffic into the Las Vegas area.
Flight plans should be filed at least 12 hours prior to the proposed time of departure, but not more than 22 hours. To maintain program integrity and minimize delays, airborne changes of destination between LAS, HND or VGT will not be accepted. Duplicate flight plans or those using the same call sign with multiple times to these airports may be removed from the system.
